Education workshop for aqua fitness instructors

High & Low H2O
Interval training has been an effective form of program design as a form of sports conditioning. Learn how to apply this method of training into an aqua aerobics class without the use of drills. Marietta will explain how to use common aqua moves (and a few new ones) in an interval format to provide an intense and effective workout, while also catering for the beginner exerciser.

Stir Fried Noodles
Stir fried and full of goodness this noodle session is packed full of ideas of how to use the noodle to develop cardiovascular fitness, upper body strength and provide challenging suspended exercises appropriate for both shallow or deep water. Move over soy sauce and Thai flavours, this session is designed for the Aussie aqua class – robust, intense, gutsy and with a cheeky sense of humour.

Liquid Form
How can your participants maximise the benefits out of their aqua workout? Join Marietta for this unique opportunity to view under water and above water footage of classic aqua moves and learn how small shifts and changes in physical form can completely alter the aqua experience. Gain valuable insights that most instructors don’t ever see from the pool or the deck, and take home the know-how to coach participants to more effective exercise execution.

Dynamic Dumbbells
Want to explore different ways to move water? Experience the versatility of the humble dumbbell for both shallow and suspended moves. This session will demonstrate how the first pioneering aqua exercise tool can spice up any aqua session and challenge your regular participant’s fitness and strength levels. Ever popular and effective presenter, Marietta will share her creative talents to ensure that you will walk away with new ideas.

    Thank you once again for such an inspirational day on Sunday.
    I have already used some of the moves in my Monday night class and got great feedback. I also found myself instructing slightly differently having taken on board the topics touched upon during the course such as using stiff fingers and open hands, that more effort should come from the arms etc. The group responded really well and I had a ball teaching. Thank you so very much for all your effort, knowledge and enthusiasm.

    I had chronic knee pain that was an 8 /10.
    Of course with my new found knowledge I found it was caused by a muscular imbalance.. and corrected it. The damage is done but I don’t have constant knee pain any more…
    Yesterday morning … “drum roll” ????….
    I woke up with my usual back pain and choofed off to your work shop.. I still had it after the Shallow class nothing unusual…
    After the deep class it wasn’t as bad.. and this morning…when I woke up…..
    Another drum roll…????????????
    I have full range of motion…
    PAIN FREE !!!!
    Wonder if it’s because it’s all been muscular rather than joints??
    I’m going on a “mission”..
