Stir Fried Noodles
Stir fried and full of goodness this noodle session is packed full of ideas of how to use the noodle to develop cardiovascular fitness, upper body strength and provide challenging suspended exercises appropriate for both shallow or deep water. Move over soy sauce and Thai flavours, this session is designed for the Aussie aqua class – robust, intense, gutsy and with a cheeky sense of humour.
Imagine your class was workout and a cabaret! – a song and dance show that the participants in your class starred in. This class is all about attitude, in the way you teach and the music you select. Marietta will take you on exploration of shallow workouts that are both fun and achievable. Take the opportunity to lead your class on a musical journey that will leave them refreshed, uplifted and smiling.
Exercising in deep water is challenging. Using only one dumbbell is challenging. Put them together and you have the Hydro Challenge. This workshop demonstrates how only using one dumbbell (no belt) can transform a deep water workout to a highly effective cardio and strength class that will impress even your fittest participant. Marietta does what she does best and combines music with new exercises that literally take your breathe away. Are you up for the Hydro Challenge.
The Fascia Conversation
Muscle activation has long been the primary focus regarding movement in water. More recently, a newer conversation about the role on fascia in effective exercise biomechanics has become more prevalent. This session will cover basic information about what fascia is and it’s role in the body. Find out how movement in water can be enhanced when fascial lines and slings are considered when performing aqua exercises.
