A very wise person once said to me “Great ideas are never great until they are a reality.”
Ever since then, I have been mindful of using those words ‘great idea’ as that little piece of advice has stuck itself firmly inside my head. Noone really knows about your ‘idea’ until it becomes a reality and then you can truly say it was a great idea. Often I hear people quickly jump in and say ‘you better do something soon otherwise someone else might do it first’ (this is in reference to your ‘great’ idea) and then that little piece of advice jumps back into my head and I can’t help but reflect how many ‘great’ ideas that I have heard in my life that have never been actioned.
‘Functional’ and ‘functionality’ have become popular buzzwords in the fitness industry over the past 10 years. While isolation exercises are still prevalent, compound and multi-planer movements have demonstrated effectiveness with enhancing everyday movements that would otherwise cause injury to an ill-prepared body.

Gymstick International is ready to create new marketing materials and we need your help!
We need you to be ready for 12pm start on 13th Feb at Recreation Burwood East for approximately 3 hours – this will include photos and videos for Gymstick Muscle and some PT/small group training in other spaces in the gym
The participants need to wear fitted clothing in block colours and to avoid loose T shirts and patterns

I can absolutely see why so many people rave about what you do! You are a wealth of information and your passion is infectious. Having come from so much personal experience in rehab, I was absolutely rapt to meet someone else who has traveled that road and come out stronger and more determined. Your desire to re-educate the industry on safe, functional exercise is truly inspiring. It’s such a hard mindset to change in people who just want to flog themselves all the time but I have to say, you have found the perfect balance of working people’s butts off (literally) while keeping them safe. It’s not all about the tool, it’s also how you use it, deliver it and develop it. You passed invaluable insights and experience onto us and I feel really confident about getting out into the industry and passing your wisdom on.
